Benevolent Bertha

In 2007, every Friday morning on the Big Breakfast Show between 7.30 and 10am, we had a spot where you could put your troubles to our very own Agony Aunt - Sympathetic Shona. Spinster of the Parish and well-known for telling people what to do, she was always ready with a wise word to point you in the right direction.

It is with heavy heart and a tear in the eye that we have to inform you that she has been locked away in a secure unit for the foreseeable future. Although she still lives on in the excerpt below.

However, we are happy to announce that her cousin, Benevolent Bertha, has stepped in for the new season of the Big Breakfast Show and therefore she will be appearing once a month to answer your questions.

So - if you are having neighbour problems… problems with your loved ones… money worries… pet worries… flea infestations… whatever it is - Bertha has an answer.
