The Highland Hospice Moonlight Meander was held on Sat 14th May in Portree and Cuillin FM were there to help out. 197 walkers took part in cool but dry conditions and great fun was had by all.
The Portree Pantomine singers entertained the walkers before the start and the Isle of Skye Pipe band led the walkers, adorned with flashing halos, out of the square at 8.00pm toward the KG5 Field and then local musicians Farquhar MacDonald and John Lamond kept people entertained until everyone returned.
Burgers were supplied to all the participants and spectators courtesy of local businesses and cooked by the skilled members of the Coastguard and lifeboat crews as well as other volunteers.
